First time in here and Joy was so welcoming and kind. I ordered the Nutella and Banana Crepe and it was simply delicious! 10/10 recommend checking out this local business. Can’t wait to try more!

Noticed this place as I was in the neighborhood and saw the great reviews. They are well earned! It's run by a euro/Filipino couple that puts their heritage into their food. Awesome people to chat with, food is amazing, personal service, great experience. Take a few minutes to chat with the owner when you order, you won't be disappointed. They also take pick up and delivery orders online which is convenient because they are currently accepting orders through an order window outdoors. I still recommend going in person to chat, but if it's cold or rainy use the website and don't miss out!

The quality of the food is great! The serving is plenty and my favorite is the Thai beef dish. The smoothies are also delicious and made with natural ingredients.

Donno what’s better: getting to know the owners or eating the food- both made our day!! The owners have a story to tell, are thoughtful, smart, hardworking; and lead with their hearts. They obviously care about their neighbors, and their to-go utensils are wooden instead of plastic, so they likely care about the environment too. Ok the food- we got two crepes, 8 empanadas, two fresh mint teas, and two ice creams- all were amazing, we ate such a wonderful meal and have lunch leftover for tomorrow! Can’t wait to return! These guys deserve all the hype!

This place has reopened and the new owner, who is sister of the original owner (a woman from Philippines and her Belgian husband), is now running the restaurant using the same recipes. They have added some Philippino delights to the eclectic menu of empanadas, italian coffee, and homemade delicious ice creams. I tried a noodle dish with chicken which was delicious!My review from years ago:Had some delicious empanadas and sweet crepe. Very impressed with this charming little place, the food and her owner, a pleasant and unique lady. I will be coming back for more.

A true gem in Portage Park neighborhood! The whole experience was superb! Kudos to the very personable owners of this multicultural bistro Roselle and her husband was very hospitable and excellent customer experience they have provided! It’s a unique combination and fusion of savory, sweet and a huge variety of drinks to choose from. Coffee,tea or bubble tea they have it.We ordered the delicious empanadas with twists and flavors from South America to Asia. A true blend of great coffee and soothing tea was also served with marvelous sweet tooth desserts that you cannot miss! Affordable place to get a quick bite with warmth feel and unique personality amongst other coffee or crepe place! Kudos to the wonderful staff!!

First time at Bistro 6050 and I will definitely be back! I tried the sweet cheese crepes with raspberry jelly and they were amazing!! My kids had the nutella and strawberry and they loved it! The burger is so juicy and delicious and the empanadas simply the bomb! I really love how welcoming all of them were as well. Reccomend it 100%

Bistro 6050 was a great lunch stop! Variety of menu items. Empanadas with flavors from around the world including Asia, Latin America, Mediterranean, and the Middle East. Food was cooked perfectly - if you have time, always wait for food to be prepared fresh. An extensive tea and coffee menu paired well with the food. The music and atmosphere was bright and welcoming. Owned and operated by a very friendly and helpful couple.Bring an appetite, you will want to try everything on the menu - - and bring seconds home!
